Evaluation of the EUs structural funds on the fields of innovation, higher education, research and development is being conducted by Praxis in cooperation with Institute of Baltic Studies and Technopolis Group Belgium. Evaluation is ordered by the Ministry of Education and Research. The aim of the evaluation is to measure the effectiveness and compatibility of measures used for the strategic objectives set on those fields.

Precise Evaluation objectives are:

• evaluating the relevance of measures,

• evaluating the success and effectiveness of measures implemented so far,

• developing suggestions for the upcoming programming period.

Evaluation process will incorporate the analysis of existing data and documentation on the implementation of measures as well as conducting interviews with representative of the main stakeholders (policy makers and beneficiaries). In addition the process carries out workshops and panel discussions in cooperation with foreign experts.
