| Integration debates: mapping the reflections on integration by third vountry citizens |

1/12/2012 Institute of Baltic Studies and Praxis Center for Policy Studies are joinlty organizing open forum-type debates "Shared Future" in a number of cities in Estonia. The aim of the debates is to discuss with third country (i.e. non-EU) citizens or people without a citizenship what kind of problems they do face in Estonia, how they perceive the Estonian society and what kind of proposals for improving the cohesion in the society do they have. The debates will focus on the aims and shortcomings of integration policies; the job market, education, equal treatment and tolerance. After the discussions, summary reports in three languages will be compiled and the results will be presented to the Ministry of Culture tol be used as an important input to the new integration programme "Lõimumiskava 2020". The debates will take place in Russian in Ida-Virumaa and Tallinn and in English in Tartu and Tallinn in March/April 2013. The discussions will be carried out using the method of citizenship panels.
