Martti has been working at the Institute of Baltic Studies since 2019. His main area of work is external and internal communication, and his main areas of interest are data-analysis, e-governance, social policy and visual media.
Martti is from Tartu, graduated from the Hugo Treffner Gymnasium, graduated from the University of Tartu with a degree in journalism and communication, and has participated in conferences in the European Parliament on youth policy development and in Lithuania on the topic of challenges for NATO in the Baltic States. As well as in Germany on various journalistic seminars.
In addition to his work at the Institute of Baltic Studies, Martti has worked as a journalist for both public broadcast radio and private media.
In September 2019, Martti started studying at the Johan Skytte Institute for Political Studies at the University of Tartu in the Master's study program in European Studies.
