Triin joined the Institute of Baltic Studies in June 2012. Her interests and work are mostly related to migration and integration as well as fundamental rights.
Triin has a bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Tartu. In 2016, she defended her master’s thesis that focused on the relationship between national feelings and immigration attitudes at the University of Tartu. Previously, Triin learned to play the piano at Tartu II Musical School for 8 years, acquired third level professional licences in childcare and sports (orienteering coach), worked as a translator (Estonian-English-Estonian) and as an accountant, and conducted seminars on third sector management and marketing at the University of Tartu.
