The Institute of Baltic studies (IBS) is conducting a study into the impact of study migration projects in the youth field. The study is commissioned by Archimedes Foundation Youth Agency. The aim of the study is to explore the impact these projects have on the development of the cooperation network and on the organizations participating in the program.

The study is based on the C-module methodology that was developed in the study Research project on competence development and capacity building in Erasmus+: Youth in Action by the RAY study network of the Erasmus+ youth branch. For the study, those managers and members of board were interviewed, whose companies had employees that had participated in the Erasmus+ study migration projects or had received the corresponding youth worker study migration grant.

The Estonian report is compiled based on interviews and document analysis. A comparative report on all countries in the RAY network is done on the basis of individual country reports.
