The purpose of the study is to map the competences of youth workers and determine their training needs.
The target group consists of youth workers and their employers. When composing questions, it is also taken into account that the employers of the youth workers are often youth workers as well or closely related to this field. The study involves different parties, including experts.
It is relied on professional standards of youth workers, Youth Development Plan 2014-2020 and previous studies, when answering exploratory questions.
The study includes four main methods to collect the analytical data: documentation analysis, semi-structured interview(s), focus group discussions and online questionnaire.
