Since then, we have&nbsp;carried out&nbsp;more than 50 thematic applied studies&nbsp;and projects in Estonia and internationally.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">Our research focuses on integration policy&nbsp;and Estonia\u2019s Russian-speaking national minority; new immigration and migration policy; citizenship&nbsp;(and statelessness)&nbsp;and citizenship policy; asylum seekers and beneficiaries of international protection; and Estonia\u2019s communities abroad and diaspora policy.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">As follow-up projects to studies, we regularly implement interventions aimed at the studied target group. Among other things, we have organised democracy seminars for young people, trained migrant women and exchange students entering the labour market,&nbsp;instructed&nbsp;Estonian school staff on working with migrant children, developed a digital service (a foreigner\u2019s interactive journey for the newly arrived immigrant to Estonia), co-organised and&nbsp;mentored our target group representatives&nbsp;during&nbsp;hackathons, etc.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">In the topics of migration and integration, IBS has been a long-standing partner to Estonian public authorities, the private sector and civil society organisations.&nbsp;We have also advised government agencies in other countries on integration policy-related issues, for example in Latvia and Serbia.
