In addition to analysing other similar studies, this study included a questionnaire survey of Robotex participants and their supervisors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">The survey results show that most respondents are satisfied or rather satisfied with their last event. In particular, they appreciated the professional running of the event. They also enjoyed the exciting tasks and the large number of participants. The additional activities offered were another frequent source of satisfaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-el\">The main reasons for participating in Robotex are the interesting competitions, the desire to test their skills, and the opportunity to work with friends. According to the participants, taking part in Robotex and preparing for it increased their interest in programming and robotics. It also enhanced their interest in robotics classes. However, participation does not impact overall academic performance in school or university.
