In the drOp project, an international consortium developed an integrated renovation method that helps transform residential areas into inclusive and smart neighbourhoods. The method was implemented in Ermua, Spain, and its first strategic phase was carried out in two follower cities: Elva (Estonia) and Matera (Italy).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The <\/strong>Institute of Baltic Studies supported engagement and planning activities in Elva and prepared the publication \u201cIntegrated Renovation Methodology: The drOp Project Roadmap.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The drOp project roadmap and methodology serve as a useful guide for communities, municipalities, and apartment associations whose previous experience in jointly developing their living environment has been limited. The roadmap and methodology can be applied either as a whole or partially, depending on the objectives: whether the aim is to renovate buildings, upgrade courtyard areas, involve the community, better understand the neighbourhood, develop a strategy for the neighbourhood, and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
