AADVAL-BIOTECH: Adding additional value and using raw materials more efficiently in the Estonian bioeconomy.

The study aims to identify the development of the Estonian bioeconomy and its main value chains, and the opportunities for using bio-resources to increase the competitiveness of the Estonian bioeconomy.
The main sub-objectives are:

1. To analyse the current state of the Estonian bioeconomy based on a holistic approach to value chains.
2. To develop (alternative) scenarios to support strategic planning for the development of the Estonian bioeconomy.
3. Develop value chain-based business models in selected areas.
4. Develop proposals for public policies and actions for the development of the bioeconomy.
