Kertu has worked as an Analyst and Project Writer at the Institute of Baltic Studies since 2014. Her main research interests include everything related to smart cities, entrepreneurship and innovation. Kertu’s day-to-day activities include the planning, preparation, implementation and management of international cooperation, innovation and research projects, and her primary responsibility relates specifically to the Horizon Europe programme. Kertu graduated her master’s studies from the University of Tartu in Baltic Sea Region Studies, focusing on international relations, history, economics, environment and politics.
